LG 37LK450 Great TV and a Super Price!
Great TV with a great price! Picture perfect and easy to install and set up. Needed to purchase an HDMI cable; otherwise, wonderful product.


LG 37LK450 AWESOME TV.
This is my first HDTV and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a basic no-frills TV when my old CRT died. I didn't need internet connectivity or any other bells and whistles - just a TV, and this delivered. The size is perfect (42") big, but doesn't overwhelm my living room. I also was a big fan of the door-to-door delivery, which meant I didn't have to wrestle it upstairs by myself. The color and picture is great. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the description (and is a feature I love) is that there is an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness according to the room lighting, so that it doesn't burn your retinas out when the sun goes down. LOVE THAT!

The TV itself is great - love it. Works perfectly at a great price
and couldn't be happier.

But just a warning to anyone without mechanical skills. The table top
base requires assembly (8 screws) and the instructions are pretty horrid
for someone who doesn't do mechanical things often. I had no problems
with it - but it's just the most involved table base I've ever seen
for a flat panel. They really "over thought" this one... confusing
assembly.

So if you aren't mechanically inclined - assembling multiple pieces
and dealing with 8 screws, 2 of which are more difficult because
of being recessed, you may want to look at another TV.

I had no problems but can see where some folks would.



LG 37LK450 Best Price, Great TV! Read for a solution to the ugly brown stripe.
First of all, I absolutely love this TV. Although I purchased this from a retail store for a little less, the TV has been great. Sound, picture, features are all there. I went from a Samsung plasma that developed burn in to this TV and I was highly impressed. No dead pixels at all, going strong for about 6 months now. I primarily use it for gaming, and a little HDTV on the side.

The only problem I had with the TV was that horrible brown strip at the bottom. It looks like a cheap sticker and doesn't really flow well with the aesthetics of the TV. I struggled with this for a while and even thought of prying it off, but today I finally found a solution.

I picked up some 5% window tint from walmart, and an exacto knife. I carefully applied this over the brown strip, then cut away by following the grooves. My end result is an all black piano finished TV, and now I am completely satisfied!

The tv was purchased for a friend. After setting it up and watching it with her it did very good p. Picture was good and it was set up so it was easily changed to other options

Bought this TV for the dorm room and am very pleased with it. I have no complaints about this TV. Sound quality is great compared to other 32-inch TVs. Picture quality is awesome. There is nothing special about the remote -- it works just fine. One thing I like in particular is that when you select the input, a box pops up with pictures for each input -- one that is lit up means that there is a device detected. I also really like the included swivel stand. Overall awesome TV.

Product was just as good as described. This is probably the best TV for the price in its class. My son loves playing his PS3 games in 1080p. Not much to say about the sound and remote because we have it connected in to our surround system and have the Directv remote. The TV sound itself is weak, but we are used to the surround system. The remote is only used to change input modes. They could have made that menu have a few less steps in my opinion.
